Redding criminal defense Attorney’s won’t be getting the calls they used to. Apparently over the weekend there were no arrests for drunk driving in Redding, California.
Officers conducted a sobreity checkpoint Saturday night in Redding, checking drivers in 714 vehicles, but arresting none for drunken driving.
Officers issued five citations and four vehicles were impounded because the drivers were allegedly driving with suspended licenses.
The DUI checkpoint, at Cypress Avenue and Civic Center Drive, involved officers with the Anderson and Redding police departments, the Shasta County Sheriff and Marshal’s offices and the Shasta County Probation Department and the California Highway Patrol.
